Class Technique UnstoppableKi Cost: 100% Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 0 Range: Self Effect: For one round, the Bastion evades or blocks all attacks, taking zero damage. Basic TechniquesMelee Attack Ki Cost: 0% Type: activated Combat Action cost: 1 Range: melee Effect: Attempts to strike the enemy with a kick or a punch, or any variation of physical blow. Deals damage equal to 25% of Strength. Ki BlastKi Cost: 1 Ki/1 Damage Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1+ Range: Any Effect: Attempts to strike the opponent with a Ki Blast, dealing 1 Damage per Ki. No more than 1/3 of total Ki can be charged into the attack unless additional combat actions are used to charge the attack further. BukujutsuKi Cost: 0% Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 0 Range: Self Effect: Characters can persistently fly. Power UpKi Cost: 0% Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1+ Range: Self Effect: Regain 1/3 of Total Ki. Tactical Retreat!Ki Cost: 0% Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1 Range: Self Effect: Removes the Bastion from melee range of their opponent. All Bastions start the game with their Class Technique as well as the Basic Techniques.

Tier 1: 1,000 – 1,500 Intercept Ki Cost: 20% Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1+ Range: Any Effect: Intercept can be used preemptively on an ally to switch the target of offensive Combat Actions aimed at that ally to the Bastion.
Barrier Ki Cost: 2 Ki/1 Shield Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1+ Range: Any Effect: Barrier places a defensive shield on the Spiritualist or the target. The defensive shield acts as another measure of Health which is diminished before the actual stat. No more than 1/3 of total Ki can be charged into the attack unless additional combat actions are used to charge the attack further. Barrier can't be used when under 50% Health. Upon entering Tier 1, all Bastions will choose either Intercept or Barrier. The player of the Bastion is also allowed to suggest a Custom Technique for this tier.

Tier 2: 1,500 – 2,500 Powerful Kiai Ki Cost: 10% Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1 Range: Melee Effect: The Bastion knocks their opponent out of melee range, and deals damage equal to 25% of their Intelligence. Kiai can be used once per round. Equilibrium Strike Ki Cost: 10% Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1 Range: Melee Effect: The Bastion attacks the balance of their foe with a melee attack, disorientating them and reducing their chance to hit with their next Ki Attack by 10%. Equilibrium Strike can be used once per round. Upon entering Tier 2, all Bastions will choose either Powerful Kiai or Equilibrium Strike, or a Technique from Tier 1. The player of the Bastion is also allowed to suggest a Custom Technique for this tier.

Tier 3: 2,500-4,000 Full Power Energy Blast Ki Cost: 1 Ki/1 Damage Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1+ Range: Any Effect: Attempts to strike the opponent with a Full Power Ki Blast, dealing 1 Damage per Ki, plus 20% of your character's Intelligence. No more than 1/3 of total Ki can be charged into the attack unless additional combat actions are used to charge the attack further.
Zanzoken Ki Cost: 30% Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1 Range: Any Effect: Zanzoken can either be used to preemptively increase Evasion chance by 10% or Hit Chance by 10%. In addition, Zanzoken moves your character into melee range or out of it. Zanzoken can only be used once per round. Upon entering Tier 3, all Bastions will choose either Full Power Energy Blast or Zanzoken, or a Technique from Tier 1-2. The player of the Bastion is also allowed to suggest a Custom Technique for this tier.

Tier 4: 4,000-6,000 Improved Barrier Ki Cost: 2 Ki/1 Shield Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1+ Range: Any Effect: Barrier places a defensive shield on the Bastion or the target. The defensive shield acts as another measure of Health which is diminished before the actual stat. Improved Barrier adds an additional amount of Shield equal to 5% of the Bastion's Health. No more than 1/3 of total Ki can be charged into the attack unless additional combat actions are used to charge the attack further. Barrier cannot be used below 50% Health. Powerful Blow Ki Cost: 50% Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1 Range: Melee Effect: Powerful Blow is a melee attack that does double damage. Powerful Blow can only be used once per round. Upon entering Tier 4, all Bastions will choose either Improved Barrier or Powerful Blow, or a Technique from Tier 1-3. The player of the Bastion is also allowed to suggest a Custom Technique for this tier.

Tier 5: 6,000 – 9,000 Defensive Strike Ki Cost: 10% Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1 Range: Melee Effect: The Bastion attacks with physical defense in mind, increasing their chance to evade or block the next melee attack by 20%. Defensive Strike can be used once per round. Aegis Ki Cost: 50% Typed: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1 Range: Any Effect: The Bastion places a shield of ki in front of target ally, preventing the next instance of damage completely. Aegis can be used once per turn. Upon entering Tier 5, all Bastions will choose either Defensive Strike or Aegis, or a Technique from Tier 1-4. The player of the Bastion is also allowed to suggest a Custom Technique for this tier.
