Tier 1: 1,000 – 1,500 Hands of Ki Ki Cost: 100% Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1 Range: Self Effect: The Shadow empowers their melee atacks with Ki, dealing an additional 30% of their total Ki in damage for 3 attacks. Dexterity Ki Cost: 0% Type: Passive Combat Action Cost: 0 Range: Self Effect: The Shadow finds weaknesses in their opponent's defenses at a much more proficient rate, increasing their chance to Critically Hit by 1%. Upon entering Tier 1, all Shadows will choose either Hands of Ki or Dexterity. The player of the Shadow is also allowed to suggest a Custom Technique for this tier.

Tier 2: 1,500 – 2,500 Attacking Zanzoken Ki Cost: 30% Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1 Range: Any Effect: The Shadow devotes their Zanzoken to attacking, increasing their chance to hit by 15% on their next attack. Attacking Zanzoken can be used once per round. Defensive Zanzoken Ki Cost: 30% Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1 Range: Any Effect: The Shadow devotes their Zanzoken to defense, increasing their chance to dodge or block the next attack by 15%. Defensive Zanzoken can be used once per round. Upon entering Tier 2, all Shadows will choose either Attacking Zanzoken or Defending Zanzoken, or a technique from Tier 1. The player of the Shadow is also allowed to suggest a Custom Technique for this tier.

Tier 3: 2,500-4,000 Takedown Ki Cost: 50% Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1 Range: Melee Effect: The Shadow attacks from behind, dealing melee damage and knocking their target out of melee range. Takedown can only be used once per round.
Eviscerate Ki Cost: 50% Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1 Range: Melee Effect: The Shadow lines up a debilitating strike that does melee damage and causes the target to lose one Combat Action on their next turn. Eviscerate can only be used twice per battle. Upon entering Tier 3, all Shadows will choose either Takedown or Eviscerate, or a technique from Tier 1-2. The player of the Shadow is also allowed to suggest a Custom Technique for this tier.

Tier 4: 4,000 - 6,000 Rout Ki Cost: 60% Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1 Range: Melee Effect: The Shadow attacks their opponent from behind, increasing the damage of their next melee attack or ki attack by 200%. Rout can only be used once per turn.
Improved Dexterity Ki Cost: 0% Type: Passive Combat Action Cost: 0 Range: Self Effect: The Shadow finds weaknesses in their opponent's defenses at a much more proficient rate, increasing their chance to Critically Hit by 2%. Upon entering Tier 4, all Shadows will choose either Rout or Improved Dexterity, or a technique from Tier 1-3. The player of the Shadow is also allowed to suggest a Custom Technique for this tier.

Draining Blows Ki Cost: 1 Ki/1 Ki Type: Activated Combat Action Cost: 1+ Range: Self Effect: The Shadow empowers their melee attacks with ki, draining the ki of the opponent at a rate of 1 of their ki for each of the Shadows. Upon entering Tier 5, all Shadows will choose either Flawless Dexterity or Draining Blows, or a technique from Tier 1-4. The player of the Shadow is also allowed to suggest a Custom Technique for this tier.
