Hey there folks, and welcome to WoD: Genesis! If you are a new member I implore you to read this.
Q: I'm not sure how to communicate with the admin team, nor speak with fellow members.
If you need to talk to a specific member, you can click on their profile and send them a personal message, provided you have made an account. If you just want to chat, then feel free to use either the shoutbox or the chatbox!
Q: Can I play a canon character?
I'm afraid not. This site takes place in an alternative universe's continuity, and none of your characters were ever born. But don't fret! This way, your own creations can take the stage of importance usually reserved for ones such as Son Goku and his friends.
Q: How do I create my character?
A character template will be posted in the character thread. Using it, you can decide your character's race, class, techniques, personality, history and so forth.
I ask you, have fun with it! Be creative! We don't want a ten-thousand strong legion of Son Goku! What about a bad-ass Saiyan elite? A philosophical Namekian? An Arcosian punisher? The possibilities are nigh-endless. With the Aliens race you can even create your own species, with all their perks and quirks.
Q: I'm not certain how to roleplay well, at least.
Fear not! We accept roleplayers of all levels here. Just think of it as such; you are writing a book or a short story, but rather than controlling all of the characters you only control one. But his or her actions, if feasibly possible, are up to you to decide. It is one of the most liberating forms of relaxation you will have and you will only get better through practice.
Q: I want to play a half-saiyan/saiyan-human hybrid, but I can't find their race page!
Unfortunately, in this timeline, saiyans have not mingled on Earth. That means that their has been no possible interactions between saiyans and humans. However, in the future it might be possible to make a half-saiyan. Until then, though, feel free to make another character and keep your half-saiyan in mind!
